Printing FAQs
The easiest way is to use DropBox, you can just copy a link and email it to us. You can also share folders that way.
Every monitor is different and they aren't calibrated to show accurate color unless you buy a special kit to calibrate your monitor once a week. Even when they are calibrated, it's only an approximation. light and pigmented color are not the same thing. Pigment can only reproduce a fraction of what you can see in the light spectrum, therefore, you can create many more colors on your computer monitor than are possible with ink. Our graphic designers will explain all of this when you place your order.
Paramount Printing does have an additional charge for "guaranteed delivery." We maintain a very full schedule and any time orders need to be squeezed in, it generally means that they have to be produced outside of our normal working hours. Our digital copiers are scheduled for the week for production and maintenance and orders that require those schedules to be adjusted will cost more than those scheduled ahead of time.
Unless you own the picture (either took it or purchased it from a stock photo site) or have written permission to use it, then we can not print it. The other issue with photos found online is the resolution. Printing requires that the images are large enough to look good in print. Computer screens only require 72dpi, whereas print requires at least 300dpi.
Purchased images from stock photo sites are acceptable because you will own the rights to use it AND they are usually high enough resolution for us to print from.
